What is defined as a place along the pitch?

In certain stadiums, including Real Madrid’s Bernabeu, Barcelona’s Camp Nou, Liverpool’s Anfield, Arsenal’s Emirates, San Siro in Milan and others, the stands along the pitch extend to the back of the goal line, behind the corner flag, including the corners, the QUADRANTS. These places are still defined along the pitch despite being actually behind the goal line. A place defined as behind the goal, literally, means that the viewer is located behind the goal, for example the STRETFORD END stand at Old Trafford, the Kop stand at Anfield, the GOL stands at Camp Nou, the blue and green stands at San Siro, Milan, etc. It should be noted that in certain stadiums the situation is the opposite, and there are stands defined behind the goal that extend towards the corners of the pitch, the corner areas.

We note that if there is a stand that is partly in front of the corner flag (the sideline) and partly behind the corner flag, behind the sideline, the entire stand is defined as being along the length of the field.

When we price the category along the field, we also include the controversial corner stands.

Therefore, if you wish to avoid sitting in corner stands, please indicate this in advance.

We will try to maintain the same price level, but at the same time, it is possible that providing a commitment to a place along the field, without corner stands, will entail an additional cost.

The solution to this problem is the premium category, which is stands along the pitch, between the 16-yard boxes, while in large stadiums such as the Bernabeu and the Camp Nou this category includes the lower stands, rings 1-2. In other stadiums, the premium category does not guarantee seating in a low stand but rather seating in a more central location relative to the longitudinal line, that is, between the 16-yard boxes.

Full disclosure regarding the premium category: We do not always offer it because in many cases, customers have booked a ticket for a seat along the field, and received a very central seat, in the half-line, center circle areas, and this at no additional charge! However, in order to ensure a central seat, it is recommended to inquire with us about a premium ticket before making a reservation.
