Sporting Clube de Portugal (Portuguese: Sporting Clube de Portugal) is a Portuguese football club, known in Portugal as Sporting, and outside Portugal as Sporting Lisbon. Sporting is one of the three leading teams in Portugal, along with Benfica and Porto. The team has won the league championship 19 times,[1] the Portuguese Cup 17 times, the Portuguese Super Cup 9 times and the European Cup Winners' Cup once, in 1964. Sporting Lisbon is one of the only three teams in Portugal (along with Benfica and Porto) that have never been relegated to the second division. Over the years, the club's youth department has managed to produce many good players, including: Luís Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luís Boa Morata.
