Football Club Internazionale Milano (Italian: Football Club Internazionale Milano), commonly known as Inter Milan, or Inter for short, is an Italian football club based in Milan, playing in the Italian Serie A, and is considered one of the largest and most successful clubs in the world. Inter was founded in 1908 and has since won 35 Italian domestic titles and nine international titles, including three times in the most important European title, the European Champions Cup. It is the only team in Italy to have played in Serie A in all its years of existence and never been relegated to the lower league, and the only Italian team to have won five titles in one year (2010) and even won the Treble, thus joining six other teams in the history of European football to have completed the Treble. Inter is the second most popular team in Italy after Juventus[1], and its fans have long-standing rivalries with fans of other teams. The most famous rivalries are with the fans of Milan, the city rival, in a match known as the "Derby della Madonnina" and with the fans of Juventus in a match known as the "Derby d'Italia". The team's nickname is "The Nerazzurri", after the black-blue media. The controlling owner of the club is Zhang Jindong, who owns the Chinese team Suning. The club's president is his son, Stephen Zhang. According to the annual rankings of Forbes magazine, the club is among the richest in the world. The team's home stadium is the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, better known as the "San Siro", the largest football stadium in Italy with 80,018 seats, which it shares with its city rival Milan. Inter is one of the founders of the G-14 organization, which represented the largest European clubs against UEFA, and is a member of the European Club Association that replaced the G-14. (Wikipedia)
