Valencia Football Club (Spanish: Valencia Club de Fútbol) is a football club from the city of Valencia, Spain. The club was founded on 5 March 1919 by then-resident Octavio Augusto Milio Díaz. The club's senior team plays its home games at the Mestalla Stadium, a 49,500-seat stadium that has been Valencia's home since 1923. In the future, the team is expected to move to the Nou Mestalla Stadium, which is currently under construction and will have a capacity of around 60,000.
