London Olympic Stadium

Olympic Stadium in London – The Olympic Stadium is a 60,000-seat stadium located in Stratford, Newham, London, United Kingdom. During the 2012 London Olympics, the stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics, as well as the running and athletics competitions. The stadium had a seating capacity of 79,990 during the Olympic Games, and after the games, the number of seats was expected to be reduced, according to the original plan, to only 25,000 seats, but in the end it was decided to transfer it to the football team West Ham United, who beat Tottenham Hotspur in a tender for the right to use the stadium. Since then, the stadium has undergone several changes to accommodate both football and athletics, and its capacity has been reduced to 66,000 seats for football matches, of which 9,000 must be empty during the team’s home games.
