There is no doubt that the goals that are etched in your memory depend on many variables such as the greatness of the player who scored, your love for that player who scored, and the situation in which the goal was scored. But sometimes it is a simple, ordinary goal and yet, somehow, it is etched in your memory for being “just a beautiful or exciting goal.”
There are goals that you get to see live on television, there are goals that were scored before you were born and you only have to hear about them from historical stories, but because you’ve heard about them so many times you feel like you were there, and there are goals, if you’re lucky, that you get to see in the stadium.
